A Modern Block Form

The Alonso Desk takes the bold geometry of a modern block desk and wraps it in richly figured burl veneer, giving the piece both architectural weight and organic warmth.

Its deeper work surface and crisp edges make it equally at home in a focused home office, a design-forward studio, or a living space where furniture doubles as sculpture. It’s a statement piece that still performs like a workhorse.

Material

Burl Veneer
Matched natural burl veneer delivers dramatic grain—swirls, eyes, and tonal variation that read warm and textured without feeling glossy. Sealed for a smooth, durable finish that stands up to everyday use.

Solid Oak Core
A robust internal oak structure keeps the desk stable and weighty, ensuring the clean lines and oversized proportions stay true over time.

Design

Built for those who want statement design without compromising usability.
• Dramatic burl pattern across the full silhouette
• Spacious top for monitors and large work setups
• Clean edges and squared legs add modern restraint
• Solid wood foundation ensures long-term stability

Sculpted, Not Symmetrical

The angled desktop and rounded legs give the desk a sculptural presence—geometric, organic, and intentionally irregular in a way that feels custom, not mass-produced.

Deep Work Area

Extra depth allows two monitors or generous working room.

Modern Geometry

Crisp lines and a blocky silhouette ground the organic veneer.

Contrast Burl Grain

The drawers are faced with burl veneer selected for tonal contrast, adding quiet visual rhythm across the front of the desk.
