Designed to Shift, Made to Stay

A lounge chair that bends the rules—literally. Inspired by Martin Eisler’s mid-century original, this sculptural silhouette invites you to lean, recline, and shift without ever losing support. Its ingenious construction allows the seat to transform between upright and semi-reclined positions, adapting effortlessly to the sitter’s mood. Casual yet dynamic, it embodies a rare balance of tradition, creativity, and intuitive design—an armchair as fluid as the life lived around it.

Design

A mid-century classic reimagined, this chair balances playful form with engineered ease—inviting you to lounge, lean, and linger.

• Designed in 1955, celebrated for its playful, floating stance
• Wide, reclined seat allows multiple lounging positions
• Curved backrest connects with minimal steel supports
• Updated frame for stability and low-maintenance living

Care

• Vacuum regularly using an upholstery attachment to maintain the fabric’s vibrancy
• Spot-clean spills immediately with a mild detergent and water
• Avoid harsh cleaners or soaking the fabric
• For deeper cleaning, professional upholstery care is recommended

Asymmetrical Form

An arcing seat and floating backrest curve independently, paired with a slim metal base for balance and airiness.

Radical for the 1950s

Departing from heavy colonial styles, it embraced modernism with warmth—blending European rigor and Brazilian ease.

Convertible Posture

Designed to shift between upright and reclined positions, it anticipated modular, adjustable seating decades ahead.

Softness with Structure

A delicate metal frame contrasts with cushioned upholstery, merging structure and softness in equal measure.
