Rotating Stories

Part storage, part sculpture, this rotating bookcase reimagines the home library as a bold architectural statement. Suspended between floor and ceiling with a central pole, it offers 360 degrees of storage—transforming from bookshelf to art piece with a single spin.

32.8"W × 87.1–129"H

Materials

Engineered Wood with Walnut Veneer
Richly grained walnut veneer over engineered wood, combining strength with elegance.

Coordinated Center Pole
A central support finished in a matching walnut tone, anchoring the structure and enabling smooth rotation.

Brass-Toned Accents
Metal caps at the top and base that add refinement and a grounded finish.

Design

Inspired by Gianfranco Frattini’s 1950s original for Poltrona Frau, this bookcase plays with balance, symmetry, and form.
• Radial shelves rotate around a central axis
• Asymmetrical layout adds dynamic movement
• Floor-to-ceiling tension pole creates a floating effect
• Perfect for open-plan spaces, corners, or reading nooks

Care

• Dust with a soft, dry cloth
• Avoid moisture and harsh cleaning products
• Rotate the cubbies gently and evenly to preserve the finish
• Ensure secure floor and ceiling placement before adjusting

A True Conversation Starter

A sculptural silhouette that feels both modern and midcentury—a design object with presence.

Sculptural Form, Not Just Storage

Its vertical footprint offers maximum storage with minimal floor space, ideal for tight corners or open lofts.

360° Accessibility

Every shelf rotates independently, allowing you to customize the arrangement and display items from all angles.

Floating Central Pole

Anchored floor-to-ceiling, the central pole creates a levitating effect while showcasing precise mechanical details.

Judge us by our looks

Our packaging is safe, simple, and proudly no frills. We don't think it makes sense to pay for things you throw away immediately.

That's why the Axis Bookcase ships in the same protective packaging the manufacturer uses, covered in functional stickers and foreign stamps showing the journey it's been on.

Questions About The Axis Bookcase

How long until I receive my order?

The Axis Bookcase arrives approximately 9-12 weeks from the day of order.

Our products take longer to arrive than most others on the internet. But there's a good reason why. Most of our pieces are made to order and ship directly from the source. We don’t keep warehouses or carry excess inventory. This is how we cut costs and pass thousands in savings back to you. But it also means you have to wait a bit longer.

What is your return policy

The Axis Bookcase can be returned after receiving the order only if the product is damaged or unusable.

Our products are made to order. So we cannot offer returns for changes in preference. But we always do what we can to make it right.

To be returned, products need to be completely unused and still in their original packaging.

How can I track my order?

The Axis Bookcase ships within 35-45 days of order placement.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with tracking details, allowing you to monitor its progress. Simply use the provided tracking information on our delivery partner’s website to stay updated on your shipment.
