Futuristic Warmth

Inspired by Joe Colombo’s 1970 KD27, the Colo Table Lamp celebrates the optimism of space-age design. A glowing dome floats within a mirrored frame, its curves reflecting one another in endless loops of light. Compact yet cinematic, it’s the rare lamp that feels both retro and forward-looking.

Materials

Injection-Molded Opal Acrylic
Made from injection-molded opal acrylic, the shade diffuses light evenly for a soft, glare-free glow. The process allows for a seamless, single-piece form with clean edges and consistent opacity—resulting in a smooth, modern silhouette with built-in light diffusion.

Chromed Steel Frame
The sculptural housing is made from precision-formed steel finished in a high-polish chrome. The mirrorlike surface reflects the surrounding environment and amplifies the lamp’s light, creating depth and dimension from every angle.

Design Notes

The Colo Table Lamp embodies the balance Joe Colombo perfected — geometric clarity softened by warmth. Its circular frame creates negative space around the glowing core, transforming light into architecture. Ideal for bedside or console placement, it adds atmosphere, reflection, and a sense of quiet modernism to any room.

Space Age Form

Colo’s domed silhouette and cut-out body recall the optimism of mid-century space design. Its compact proportions make it a sculptural accent on desks, consoles, or bedside tables.

Chrome and Opal Diffuser

A polished chrome base wraps around an opal acrylic diffuser, balancing reflective metal with soft translucence. The contrast between materials gives the lamp a luminous, futuristic quality.

Soft Diffusion

Light filters evenly through the opal dome and reflects off the curved interior of the metal base, producing a gentle, ambient glow that feels warm and atmospheric.

Iconic Revival

Originally popularized in the 1970s, this sculptural form feels distinctly modern again. Colo celebrates retro minimalism — sleek, rounded, and effortlessly cool.
