Materials

Solid Pine
The whole piece is solid pine — top, legs, and all — with no veneer over a composite core. The grain runs continuous across the rounded top, and the 1.1-inch slab carries the weight of real timber rather than a hollow panel.

Stained Finish
The pine takes a stain, walnut or black, worked into the grain so the wood reads through rather than being painted over. The tone is a stain color, not the species — walnut-stained pine, not solid walnut.

The console is an exercise in rounding off — every edge softened, every part reduced to a slab.
