Wood. Honest.

Nothing hidden. Nothing unnecessary.
The Conoid Lounge Chair reflects George Nakashima’s philosophy—where structure, grain, and joinery are the design.

Spindled back. Sculpted base. A chair that feels made, not manufactured.
Materials

Solid Ash Frame
Built from solid ash, selected for its strength and visible grain. Each component—legs, rails, and spindles—is shaped to highlight the natural character of the wood.

Upholstered Cushioning
Seat and headrest are padded with high-density foam and wrapped in a textured fabric. The cushion softens the structure without masking it.
Design

Inspired by Nakashima’s Conoid series, originally developed in the mid-20th century, this chair expresses a balance between architecture and craft—where every joint is deliberate and every line structural.

• Vertical spindle back for airflow and visual rhythm
• Sculpted crest rail with subtle winged edges
• Low, grounded stance with sled-style base
• Angled seat and reclined back for lounging posture
• Cushion integrated without disrupting the frame
Size Guide

• 23" W × 28.5" D × 32.5" H

Questions About The Conoid Cushion Chair

How long until I receive my order?

The Conoid Cushion Chair arrives approximately 7-10 weeks from the day of order.

Our products take longer to arrive than most others on the internet. But there's a good reason why. Most of our pieces are made to order and ship directly from the source. We don’t keep warehouses or carry excess inventory. This is how we cut costs and pass thousands in savings back to you. But it also means you have to wait a bit longer.
What is your return policy

The Conoid Cushion Chair can be returned after receiving the order only if the product is damaged or unusable.

Our products are made to order. So we cannot offer returns for changes in preference. But we always do what we can to make it right.

To be returned, products need to be completely unused and still in their original packaging.
How can I track my order?

The Conoid Cushion Chair ships within 2 weeks of order placement.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with tracking details, allowing you to monitor its progress. Simply use the provided tracking information on our delivery partner’s website to stay updated on your shipment.
