Inspired by Isamu Noguchi’s paper sculptures, the Hikari Pendant transforms light into a living form. Its elongated silhouette swells and narrows like breath — fluid, weightless, and impossibly balanced. Suspended from above, it floats like a column of air made visible.

Materials

Handcrafted Washi Paper
Formed from the inner bark of the mulberry tree, washi paper diffuses light with unmatched softness. Each shade is made by hand, revealing subtle texture and horizontal ribbing that give the lamp its organic rhythm.

Bamboo and Steel Frame
The internal structure combines slender bamboo ribs with a steel spine, giving strength to the paper’s delicacy. The contrast between tension and lightness defines its sculptural shape.

Design Notes

The Hikari Pendant captures Noguchi’s philosophy that light should illuminate both space and spirit. Its stacked, biomorphic form creates a quiet dialogue between gravity and lift — expanding gently at the center, tapering toward both ends. The effect is serene and architectural, as if the lamp were breathing light into the room.

The Hikari Pendant can be returned after receiving the order only if the product is damaged or unusable.

Our products are made to order. So we cannot offer returns for changes in preference. But we always do what we can to make it right.

To be returned, products need to be completely unused and still in their original packaging.
