Low Profile, High Impact

A classic angled silhouette updated in full-grain leather. This sculptural lounge chair blends Danish design with durable Indonesian craftsmanship for a seat that leans back and holds up.

• Basket-woven cowhide leather seat and back
• Sustainably sourced solid teak frame
• Slightly reclined for full-back support
• Clean, slightly reclined profile for easy storage
• Built to age beautifully over time

Materials

Top Grain Cowhide Leather
The seat and backrest are constructed from handwoven strips of top-grain Indonesian cowhide. Soft yet resilient, the leather offers natural give and flexibility while retaining structure. Its basket-weave pattern provides breathable support and rich visual texture that develops character over time.

Sustainably Sourced Teak Wood
The frame is made from sustainably sourced Indonesian teak — a high-density hardwood known for its strength, longevity, and resistance to moisture. Naturally finished to showcase its grain, the teak offers both visual warmth and structural integrity.

Webbing & Joinery
Each leather strip is tensioned using durable webbing techniques, supported by traditional teak joinery that reinforces the chair’s form without visible fasteners.

Design

Silhouette
This version preserves the same open, airy profile while updating the original rope weave with rich leather. The proportions feel timeless and intentional — equally suited to modern or traditional interiors.

Recline Angle
The seat leans back slightly at a gentle angle, promoting a naturally relaxed posture. This subtle recline, paired with the flexible leather support, makes it ideal for longer lounging without additional cushions.

Weaving Pattern
The interlaced leather basket weave isn’t just decorative — it offers a balanced combination of support and breathability. The spacing is carefully calibrated to ensure ergonomic comfort while allowing airflow.

Frame Detailing
Tapered teak legs and rounded edges create a visual lightness, while the exposed grain and sculpted joints highlight the material’s craftsmanship. The overall construction feels both grounded and refined.
