Gesture in Balance

The Mantis Floor Lamp is defined by movement—a sweeping wooden arm, a suspended shade, and a structure that feels closer to a drawing than an object. The composition is asymmetrical but controlled, balancing tension and lightness in a way that reads clearly from across a room.

It functions as both light source and silhouette.
Materials

Solid Wood Frame
The structure is formed from solid wood, shaped into a continuous, arcing profile. The grain is visible throughout, giving the piece warmth and depth against its otherwise minimal geometry.

Textured Diffuser Shade
The shade is softly ribbed, designed to diffuse light evenly. Its rounded form contrasts the angular sweep of the frame, softening the overall composition.

Metal Hardware & Suspension
A minimal metal connection anchors the shade, allowing it to hang with slight visual tension while remaining stable in use.
Design

A study in asymmetry, tension, and balance.

• Arcing wooden frame creates a sense of upward movement
• Suspended shade introduces visual tension and softness
• Ribbed diffuser reduces glare and spreads light evenly
• Open base keeps the footprint visually light despite the height
• Rooted in mid-century experimental lighting where structure becomes expression

Questions About The Mantis Floor Lamp

How long until I receive my order?

The Mantis Floor Lamp arrives approximately 4-6 Weeks from the day of order.

Our products take longer to arrive than most others on the internet. But there's a good reason why. Most of our pieces are made to order and ship directly from the source. We don’t keep warehouses or carry excess inventory. This is how we cut costs and pass thousands in savings back to you. But it also means you have to wait a bit longer.
What is your return policy

The Mantis Floor Lamp can be returned after receiving the order only if the product is damaged or unusable.

Our products are made to order. So we cannot offer returns for changes in preference. But we always do what we can to make it right.

To be returned, products need to be completely unused and still in their original packaging.
How can I track my order?

The Mantis Floor Lamp ships within 3-7 Days of order placement.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with tracking details, allowing you to monitor its progress. Simply use the provided tracking information on our delivery partner’s website to stay updated on your shipment.
