Directional Geometry

A sculptural floor lamp defined by tension, balance, and exaggerated proportion. Inspired by the visual language of postmodern Italian lighting, the silhouette reduces the form to its most essential geometry — cone, line, and disc — creating an object that feels architectural even when unlit.

The dramatically tapered arm creates a sense of movement and suspension, while the floating conical shade directs a soft downward glow suited for reading corners, lounges, or ambient lighting beside seating.

• Overscaled tapered arm
• Directional cone shade
• Powder-coated steel construction
• Architectural asymmetrical silhouette
• Ambient downward illumination
• Sculptural freestanding profile

Materials

Powder-Coated Steel
Constructed entirely from steel with a smooth powder-coated finish that softens reflections while emphasizing the lamp’s sculptural geometry.

Weighted Conical Base
The tapered pedestal base provides visual lightness while maintaining stability through a concealed weighted structure.

Directional Metal Shade
A suspended conical shade focuses light downward, creating a softer, more controlled ambient glow.

Design

Influenced by late 20th-century European lighting design, the composition explores imbalance as structure — pairing an elongated horizontal arm with a sharply tapered vertical base.

Rather than relying on ornament, the form creates visual impact through proportion alone. The extended arm appears almost suspended in space, while the matte finish reduces visual noise and reinforces the purity of the silhouette.

Its graphic profile works especially well in minimal interiors, reading equally as functional lighting and sculptural object.

How long until I receive my order?

What is your return policy

The Meridian Floor Lamp can be returned after receiving the order only if the product is damaged or unusable.

Our products are made to order. So we cannot offer returns for changes in preference. But we always do what we can to make it right.

To be returned, products need to be completely unused and still in their original packaging.
