Danish Design

Three rails. Four legs. One continuous idea.
The Moller Cord Chair strips dining seating down to its essentials—precision joinery, softened edges, and a woven seat that does more with less.

Light in form. Exact in execution.

Materials

Solid Ash Frame
Crafted from solid ash, chosen for its strength and fine, even grain. The frame is shaped with subtle tapers and softened transitions—hallmarks of Danish cabinetmaking.

Hand-Woven Cord Seat
A natural paper cord seat is tightly woven by hand, offering flexibility, breathability, and long-term durability. It conforms slightly over time, improving comfort with use.

Design

Rooted in mid-century Danish design, this chair reflects a philosophy of restraint—where every curve serves both structure and comfort.

• Triple back rails for ergonomic support
• Sculpted rear legs that flow into the backrest
• Slightly angled seat for natural posture
• Hand-finished edges that soften the silhouette
• Lightweight profile that moves easily within a space

Danish Cord Tradition

The woven seat is a defining element of Scandinavian design—durable, breathable, and visually light, developed to replace heavier upholstered forms

Joinery as Design

Rather than hiding construction, the chair expresses it—each transition between leg, rail, and seat is intentional and visible

Built Around the Human Form

The gently curved back rails and angled seat follow the body’s natural posture, offering support without excess padding

An Icon of Restraint

This design language—minimal, warm, and material-driven—defined Danish modern furniture and continues to influence contemporary interiors

Judge us by our looks

Our packaging is safe, simple, and proudly no frills. We don't think it makes sense to pay for things you throw away immediately.

That's why the Moller Cord Chair ships in the same protective packaging the manufacturer uses, covered in functional stickers and foreign stamps showing the journey it's been on.

Questions About The Moller Cord Chair

How long until I receive my order?

The Moller Cord Chair arrives approximately 6-8 weeks from the day of order.

Our products take longer to arrive than most others on the internet. But there's a good reason why. Most of our pieces are made to order and ship directly from the source. We don’t keep warehouses or carry excess inventory. This is how we cut costs and pass thousands in savings back to you. But it also means you have to wait a bit longer.

What is your return policy

The Moller Cord Chair can be returned after receiving the order only if the product is damaged or unusable.

Our products are made to order. So we cannot offer returns for changes in preference. But we always do what we can to make it right.

To be returned, products need to be completely unused and still in their original packaging.

How can I track my order?

The Moller Cord Chair ships within 2 weeks of order placement.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with tracking details, allowing you to monitor its progress. Simply use the provided tracking information on our delivery partner’s website to stay updated on your shipment.
