Materials

Stainless Steel Structural Frame
Uses stainless steel to create a crisp external framework with the strength and visual precision associated with postwar Scandinavian furniture.

Down and Foam Cushioning
Combines supportive foam with down for a seat that holds its shape while maintaining a softer, more relaxed surface.

Genuine Leather
Covers the primary touch points in genuine leather for a supple hand, natural variation, and richer character with use.

Design

Pairs industrial precision with tactile comfort, drawing from the branch of mid-century Danish modernism that treated steel as a material worthy of the same visual prominence traditionally given to wood. The exposed frame, disciplined proportions, and separate upholstered volumes create a sense of order without making the chair feel austere.

• Balances industrial precision with soft volume
• Uses exposed steel as part of the composition
• Keeps the silhouette low, square, and restrained
• Separates frame and cushions with visual clarity
• Draws from postwar Danish functionalism

Exposed Steel Structure

Turns the stainless steel frame into a visible part of the composition rather than hiding it beneath upholstery.

Leather Where It Matters

Uses genuine leather across the primary contact surfaces for the feel and natural character of real hide.

Layered Cushioning

Combines down with foam to balance softness, support, and shape retention.

Architectural Proportions

Keeps the profile controlled and rectilinear while allowing the cushions to read as generous, independent volumes.

Judge us by our looks

Our packaging is safe, simple, and proudly no frills. We don't think it makes sense to pay for things you throw away immediately.

That's why the Nordhavn Lounge Chair ships in the same protective packaging the manufacturer uses, covered in functional stickers and foreign stamps showing the journey it's been on.

We don't hide it and wear it as a badge of honor for the places our products have been and the people who made them.
