One Line, One Surface

Originally conceived as a rejection of heavy, overbuilt seating, the Paulistano Chair strips everything back to structure and material.

The result is lighter visually, more relaxed physically, and still incredibly durable.

Materials

Powder-Coated Steel Frame
A continuous bent steel rod structure, finished with a durable powder coat. The frame provides strength through form rather than bulk, allowing it to remain visually minimal while structurally sound.

Full-Grain Leather Sling
A single piece of genuine leather forms the seat, back, and arms. The leather softens and adapts over time, developing a natural patina and a more personalized sit with use.

Design

A continuous loop of steel supports a suspended leather surface.

There are no traditional joints between seat and frame. The leather is tensioned across the structure, creating a floating effect that gives slightly under weight and returns to form when not in use.

The geometry is simple but intentional. Angled legs provide stability, while the low, open profile keeps the chair from feeling bulky in a space.

What makes it work is restraint. Every line serves a purpose, and nothing is added beyond what’s necessary.

The Paulistano Chair can be returned after receiving the order only if the product is damaged or unusable.

Our products are made to order. So we cannot offer returns for changes in preference. But we always do what we can to make it right.

To be returned, products need to be completely unused and still in their original packaging.
