A Better Class of Hinge

A substantial solid-brass hinge that makes a door feel noticeably better in use.

Precision steel ball bearings keep the swing smooth and quiet, while thick brass leaves provide the weight and rigidity expected from serious architectural hardware. Decorative barrel detailing gives the mechanics just enough presence to feel considered rather than merely functional.

Materials

3 mm Solid Brass
The hinge body, leaves, barrel, and decorative details are made from solid brass rather than plated base metal. Its density gives the hardware a reassuring weight in hand, while brass offers excellent corrosion resistance for long-term use.

Steel Ball Bearings
Integrated steel ball bearings reduce friction inside the barrel, creating a smoother, quieter swing while limiting metal-on-metal wear over repeated use.

Design

• Oversized circular knob with a broad grip
• Rectangular architectural backplate

Solid Brass, Properly

The body is solid brass, giving the hinge the weight, corrosion resistance, and material integrity expected from architectural-grade hardware.

Quiet by Design

Steel ball bearings reduce friction for a noticeably smoother, quieter swing.

The Weight Is the Point

Thick brass leaves give the hardware a reassuring solidity that lightweight stamped hinges simply do not have.

Better Mechanics

Bearing-assisted movement keeps the barrel rotating cleanly rather than relying on brass rubbing directly against brass.
