A Seat that Shapes Space

This bold, sculptural chair is a celebration of volume, contrast, and playful proportion. Inspired by Sebastian Herkner’s iconic Pipe Chair, it balances a grounded, oversized seat with a buoyant tubular backrest—delivering high-impact design in a surprisingly versatile silhouette. Equal parts architectural and approachable, it’s a showpiece that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

28.0"H × 32.3"D × 32.7"W

Materials

Bouclé Upholstery
A rich, textured fabric that adds depth and tactile dimension to the seat.

Velvet Backrest
Tubular backrest wrapped in velvet, offering a plush contrast to the matte seat.

Polished Chrome Legs
Industrial-inspired metal legs in a reflective chrome finish, providing structural integrity and visual lift.

Design

A masterclass in contrasts, the design plays with opposites—soft and hard, curved and flat, compact and voluminous.

• Oversized seat cushion offers generous scale with soft, rounded edges
• Cylindrical backrest provides a playful, exaggerated form that wraps the upper back
• Polished tubular legs reference industrial piping—a nod to the chair’s namesake
• Bold two-tone upholstery draws the eye and encourages playful customization

Care

• Vacuum regularly with an upholstery attachment to maintain the fabric’s color and texture
• Spot clean minor spills with a damp cloth and mild detergent
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent fading
• Gently fluff the backrest as needed to retain its plush shape

Two-Tone Rhythm

Contrasting fabrics on back and seat transform the chair into a sculptural object, with texture and color creating subtle movement.

Judge us by our looks

Our packaging is safe, simple, and proudly no frills. We don't think it makes sense to pay for things you throw away immediately.

That's why the Pipe Chair ships in the same protective packaging the manufacturer uses, covered in functional stickers and foreign stamps showing the journey it's been on.

Questions About The Pipe Chair

How long until I receive my order?

The Pipe Chair arrives approximately 7-12 weeks from the day of order.

Our products take longer to arrive than most others on the internet. But there's a good reason why. Most of our pieces are made to order and ship directly from the source. We don’t keep warehouses or carry excess inventory. This is how we cut costs and pass thousands in savings back to you. But it also means you have to wait a bit longer.

What is your return policy

The Pipe Chair can be returned after receiving the order only if the product is damaged or unusable.

Our products are made to order. So we cannot offer returns for changes in preference. But we always do what we can to make it right.

To be returned, products need to be completely unused and still in their original packaging.

How can I track my order?

The Pipe Chair ships within 2-4 weeks of order placement.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with tracking details, allowing you to monitor its progress. Simply use the provided tracking information on our delivery partner’s website to stay updated on your shipment.
