Materials

Transparent Molded Polycarbonate Seat
Molded polycarbonate gives the seat its glass-like clarity without the visual weight of a solid upholstered surface. The smooth, nonporous finish resists water and stains and wipes clean easily.

Electroplated Tubular Metal Frame
Slender tubular metal bends continuously around the base and rises to support the seat. Its reflective electroplated finish amplifies the transparency above, leaving little more than a bright outline of the chair's structure.

Exposed Alloy Pivot Mechanism
Cast alloy joints connect the seat and frame, allowing the structure to fold while creating its most recognizable detail. Rather than concealing the hardware, the design gives the mechanism a prominent place at either side.

Non-Slip Floor Pads
Discrete pads sit beneath the tubular base to improve grip and reduce direct metal contact with hard flooring.
