Each piece is crafted from solid, optical-grade acrylic chosen for its exceptional clarity and light-transmitting properties.

Unlike glass, acrylic allows color to appear suspended within the material, creating depth and glow rather than reflection. The material is durable, smooth to the touch, and resistant to everyday wear.

Design Notes

Post-Modern Influence
The design draws from post-modern principles—bold geometry, stacked forms, and expressive material use. There are echoes of 1980s Italian design in the way color, proportion, and transparency interact, but stripped back to feel contemporary rather than nostalgic.

Form as Function
Each volume is purposeful. The cylindrical candle cup is sized precisely for standard tapers, while the spherical and rectangular elements below act as both visual counterweight and light diffuser. The stacked composition turns a functional object into a small architectural moment.

Light as a Material
As light passes through the acrylic, edges soften, colors intensify, and shadows become part of the composition. The object feels different in morning light than it does at dusk—dynamic rather than static.
