Folded Ribbon

A lounge chair drawn as a single gesture: one continuous ribbon of fiberglass that sweeps up into a curved shell, then folds under itself into a base of stacked scrolls. There are no legs and no seams to speak of — just one surface turning through space, holding you in its curve. It is a sculptural chair first, but the seat is shaped to genuinely cradle a body.

• Molded in one continuous fiberglass form — shell and base in a single ribbon
• A contoured seat shell that curves to the body
• A base of rolled, scrolling folds in place of legs
• A smooth, matte molded surface throughout
• A sculptural lounge piece with a genuine seat

Materials

Fiberglass
The chair is molded from fiberglass in a single continuous form, which is what lets the ribbon fold and scroll without joints or hardware. The material is light for its size, rigid enough to hold the cantilevered shell, and finished in a smooth matte surface.

The one-piece construction means seat, back, and scrolled base are all the same skin — no seams, fasteners, or applied legs to interrupt the line.

Design

A chair that argues form and function needn't be separate.

• One ribbon of fiberglass does everything — shell, support, and base
• The seat shell is contoured to hold the body, not just to look good
• Scrolled folds at the base replace legs and add visual rhythm
• A matte molded finish keeps the eye on the silhouette
• Reads as sculpture in a room, works as a lounge chair up close

Our packaging is safe, simple, and proudly no frills. We don't think it makes sense to pay for things you throw away immediately.

That's why the Reform Lounge Chair ships in the same protective packaging the manufacturer uses, covered in functional stickers and foreign stamps showing the journey it's been on.

We don't hide it and wear it as a badge of honor for the places our products have been and the people who made them.
