Vertical Beacon

Inspired by Delord and Garrault’s Sol au Plafond, this piece treats light as structure.

A single illuminated line stretches from floor to ceiling, turning architecture into ambience. Solis transforms a simple vertical axis into a quiet, glowing statement — less lamp, more presence.
Materials

Chromed Metal Structure
Polished metal tubing forms a tensioned column between floor and ceiling, mirroring its surroundings and lending a reflective, sculptural edge.

White Plexiglass Globe
A softly diffused sphere casts light in every direction, balancing the linear body with a luminous counterpoint.
Design Notes

The Solis Ceiling Lamp draws directly from Delord and Garrault’s 1970s experimentation with “floor-to-ceiling” lighting — fixtures that blurred the boundary between light, sculpture, and architecture.

This modern iteration carries forward that ethos of restraint and poise: a column of light that defines its environment through proportion, reflection, and quiet tension.

The Essential

Floor to Ceiling

A single lit column runs the full height of the room, sitting closer to architecture than to a standard floor or ceiling fixture.

The Essential

Chromed Column

Polished metal tubing holds under tension between floor and ceiling, carrying a mirrored reflection of the room down its length.

The Essential

Diffused Globe

A white plexiglass sphere spreads light evenly in every direction, giving the strict vertical line a soft, luminous counterpoint.

The Essential

Sculptural Lineage

The form carries forward Delord and Garrault's 1970s floor-to-ceiling lighting, where a fixture defined a room through proportion rather than fill.

Questions About The Solis Lamp

How long until I receive my order?

The Solis Lamp arrives approximately 4-6 weeks from the day of order.

Our products take longer to arrive than most others on the internet. But there's a good reason why. Most of our pieces are made to order and ship directly from the source. We don’t keep warehouses or carry excess inventory. This is how we cut costs and pass thousands in savings back to you. But it also means you have to wait a bit longer.
What is your return policy

The Solis Lamp can be returned after receiving the order only if the product is damaged or unusable.

Our products are made to order. So we cannot offer returns for changes in preference. But we always do what we can to make it right.

To be returned, products need to be completely unused and still in their original packaging.
How can I track my order?

The Solis Lamp ships within 7-10 days of order placement.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with tracking details, allowing you to monitor its progress. Simply use the provided tracking information on our delivery partner’s website to stay updated on your shipment.
