Minimal Geometric Platform

A square platform in 201 stainless steel, conceived as a sculptural object or raised display surface. The form is radically flat—a thin horizontal plane that reads as both functional and art-like. It draws from Donald Judd's investigations into industrial materials and geometric form in the late 1970s, where even simple cubes become profound through proportion and scale.

Materials

201 Stainless Steel
Fabricated entirely from 201 stainless steel, the platform is a single geometric volume. The non-magnetic steel resists corrosion and develops a subtle patina. The matte finish creates a soft, contemplative surface quality that encourages you to look rather than merely see.

Dimensions by Variant
32" Width: 31.5"W × 31.5"D × 3.9"H
40" Width: 39.4"W × 39.4"D × 3.9"H

Design

A study in minimal form, where material and geometry are one.

• Square geometry emphasizes proportion and mathematical precision
• Minimal height (under 4") creates a floating effect
• Two sizes available for varied spatial contexts
• Functions as both functional surface and sculptural form

Brushed Steel Finish

Fine linear brushing across the stainless steel surface creates a subtle metallic sheen and a refined, understated appearance.

Clean Geometric Form

A broad, uninterrupted top and straight edges define the platform’s simple rectangular geometry, emphasizing a clean, architectural silhouette.

Low Profile Design

The slim horizontal profile creates a grounded, understated presence, with a consistent edge height that reinforces the platform’s minimal form.

Seamless Surface

The expansive brushed metal top meets the straight side panels with crisp edges, creating a cohesive look with minimal visual interruption.
