Materials

Solid Brass
Cast from solid brass rather than plated pot metal, so the warm tone runs through the whole piece and wears in instead of flaking. The heft — 51 g for the knob, 143 g for the pull — is the brass itself.

Antique Brass Finish
An aged, hand-worked antique finish darkens the recesses and catches on the raised points, giving each star depth rather than a flat uniform shine.

Design

The star is drawn with concave sides, so each of the four arms tapers to a fine point rather than a blunt wedge.
