One Leg, Solved

Designed around a single idea: remove the clutter underneath. Inspired by mid-century modernist thinking, this chair replaces the traditional four-leg base with a single, continuous pedestal—creating a cleaner, more resolved silhouette.

The result is sculptural but practical, with a form that reads as one unified object rather than a collection of parts.

Materials

ABS Seat Shell
The upper shell is formed from ABS, chosen for its durability and smooth, consistent finish. It holds its shape over time while maintaining a clean, matte surface that feels solid without being overly heavy. The slight flexibility of the material adds comfort without the need for heavy upholstery.

Aluminum Alloy Base
The pedestal base is cast from aluminum alloy, giving the chair its structural integrity while keeping the overall profile light. Finished to match the shell, it reinforces the idea of a single continuous form—visually seamless, but engineered for stability and daily use.

Design

At its core, the design is about reduction—eliminating visual noise to arrive at something more intentional. The pedestal base creates a sense of openness beneath the chair, while the curved shell supports the body without excess bulk.

• Single pedestal base eliminates visual clutter
• Continuous transition from seat to base
• Slightly flexed shell for comfort
• Clean profile from every angle

Questions About The Stem Armchair

How long until I receive my order?

The Stem Armchair arrives approximately 4-6 weeks from the day of order.

Our products take longer to arrive than most others on the internet. But there's a good reason why. Most of our pieces are made to order and ship directly from the source. We don’t keep warehouses or carry excess inventory. This is how we cut costs and pass thousands in savings back to you. But it also means you have to wait a bit longer.

What is your return policy

The Stem Armchair can be returned after receiving the order only if the product is damaged or unusable.

Our products are made to order. So we cannot offer returns for changes in preference. But we always do what we can to make it right.

To be returned, products need to be completely unused and still in their original packaging.

How can I track my order?

The Stem Armchair ships within 3-5 days of order placement.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with tracking details, allowing you to monitor its progress. Simply use the provided tracking information on our delivery partner’s website to stay updated on your shipment.
