A Vertical Composition

The Vertical Cone Floor Lamp is built as a sequence—cones, discs, and diffusers arranged along a single axis. Each element is simple on its own, but together they create a layered rhythm that reads clearly from a distance.

It functions as both light and structure, closer to a standing composition than a conventional lamp.

Materials

Powder-Coated Steel Structure
The frame is constructed from steel with a matte powder-coated finish. The surface is uniform and understated, allowing the geometry to remain the focus.

Metal Cone Shades
Multiple conical shades are positioned along the vertical stem, directing light outward at different angles. The forms are precise and consistent, reinforcing the overall composition.

Opal Glass Diffusers
Select light points are softened with opal glass diffusers, introducing contrast to the sharper metal elements and creating a more ambient glow.

Design

A study in repetition, balance, and variation.

• Vertical arrangement creates a strong architectural presence
• Repeating cone geometry establishes rhythm along the stem
• Alternating materials—metal and glass—introduce contrast
• Directional shades distribute light across multiple points
• Rooted in contemporary studio lighting where form is built through modular elements
