Bauhaus Balance

Inspired by the disciplined beauty of early modernist design, the Wagen Table Lamp unites glass and chrome in perfect proportion. Every element — from its weighted base to its floating dome — is functional, geometric, and exact. A lamp that feels more like a principle of design than an object.

Materials

Chromed Metal Column
A polished metal stem anchors the form, finished in a mirror chrome that emphasizes the lamp’s vertical symmetry. The reflective surface captures and diffuses surrounding light, adding subtle movement to the otherwise restrained silhouette.

Opaline Glass Shade
The dome is formed from opaline glass, designed to produce a soft, even diffusion. When illuminated, it emits a warm, ambient glow that balances the precision of the structure beneath.

Glass Disc Base
A thick, circular glass base provides stability while maintaining visual lightness. Its прозрачent body and polished edge catch ambient light, creating a subtle halo effect at the base.

Integrated Composite Housing
Select internal and structural components are formed from high-quality composite materials, allowing for precise tolerances and a clean junction between the glass and metal elements. These parts are fully integrated within the design to maintain a seamless exterior finish.

Design Notes

The Wagen Table Lamp captures the essence of Bauhaus rationalism — where nothing is ornamental, yet everything is considered. Its interplay of glass, metal, and light demonstrates the modernist ideal that utility and beauty can be one and the same. A timeless study in proportion and clarity.

Bauhaus Revival

With its precise geometry and chrome finish, Wagen recalls the functional elegance of early modernist design. A simple dome and column structure form a perfect balance of proportion and restraint.

Chrome and Opal Harmony

The lamp pairs a polished metal frame with a hand-blown opal glass dome. Together they diffuse light evenly across the surface, casting a warm, inviting glow that’s ideal for work or rest.

Iconic Lineage

Echoing classic pieces by early 20th-century masters, Wagen distills industrial modernism into a compact form. It’s a timeless accent that bridges vintage character and contemporary precision.

Thoughtful Details

A pull-chain switch adds a tactile note to the design — practical yet nostalgic. Each component is finished with a soft brushed texture for a refined, enduring feel.
