The two domed sections are formed iron, powder-coated in a matte finish that conceals fingerprints and resists minor surface damage. Iron's thermal conductivity allows heat from the internal LED to dissipate safely. Acrylic maintains clarity over years of use without clouding.

Rechargeable Battery
Built-in lithium battery eliminates cord dependency, allowing placement on surfaces without electrical outlets. Touch-switch logic provides three intensity settings for task and ambient modes.
