Steel Support Structure
The support column and base employ steel for its load-bearing capacity and the precision possible in machining. Steel provides the mass needed to counterbalance the cantilevered shade assembly while keeping the visual profile lean.

Glass Base Option (Black model)
Where included, tempered glass provides a counterweight and visual transparency. Glass mass grounds the lamp without adding visual bulk.
