Gift cards are delivered instantly by email after purchase to the recipient.

You will also receive a copy of the email for your own records.
Does The Essential also sell physical cards?

Not at this time. But we're working on it.
Can I schedule it to be sent later?

Yes. You can choose a gift card delivery date above by clicking "I want to send this as a gift"
Does the gift card expire?

No. Our gift cards never expire.
Can it be used on anything?

Yes. Gift cards can be used on any product on our site, including sale items.
Can I use a gift card more than once?

Yes. If the order total is less than the gift card value, the remaining balance stays on the card.
What if my order costs more than the gift card balance?

You can pay the remaining balance with any other accepted payment method at checkout.
Can I check the balance of a gift card?

Yes. The remaining balance is always shown during checkout when you enter the gift card code.
Are gift cards refundable or exchangeable?

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
What happens if the gift card email is lost or deleted?

If you purchased the gift card, you can contact us and we’ll resend the email.
