The frame is constructed from either solid oak or cherry, depending on your selection. Both are chosen for their durability, grain character, and historical accuracy to the original design.

Pierre Jeanneret

Pierre Jeanneret was a Swiss architect and designer best known for his partnership with Le Corbusier. While his cousin drew the spotlight, Jeanneret was instrumental in designing much of Chandigarh’s furniture and buildings. His work prioritized strong forms, smart construction, and tactile materials—principles that defined the Chandigarh collection and left a lasting imprint on design history.
