The Aisle

Made of a single slab of terracotta, the pizza stone has a porous surface that pulls the moisture out the dough and gets incredibly hot (up to 1400 ℉).

Meaning that your homemade crusts are crispier, your toppings are bubblier and your pizza is so much better.

Warning: Don't place a cold (or room temperature) pizza stone in a hot oven as this leads to thermal shock, which can cause your pizza stone to crack or even explode

Preheating the stone
Place the pizza stone on the lowest rack of a cold oven. Then begin preheating your oven. Once the oven reaches the right temperature, give the pizza stone an extra 30 minutes to preheat after your oven has come to the correct temperature.

Warming the dough
Let your pizza dough come to room temperature. Placing cold pizza dough on a hot stone can also cause it to break. When used properly, most pizzas will cook in about eight to 10 minutes with a pizza stone.

Baking
Gently place your assembled, uncooked pizza onto the stone using a well-floured pizza peel. Be careful with this part — the pizza stone will be incredibly hot by now. Further, pay attention to what toppings you place on the stone. The stone is very absorbent and will pick up scents easily.

A Single Slab of Terracotta
Terracotta, also known as earthenware, is an ancient and radical material. Fired below 1,200 °C, terracotta absorbs liquids like no other. That's what makes it perfect pizza stone material. The materials rough and porous surface starts to suck in moisture from the pizza crust as it heats up. Topping out at nearly 1400 ℉, the slab leads to the crispiest possible crust.

Non-toxic & Eco-friendly
What you cook your food on matters. That's why our pans have no PFOA, PTFE, other PFAs, lead, cadmium, or toxic metals. Plus, they're making a smaller impact on the environment. Natural bakeware (like ours) has a fraction of the carbon footprint of a manufactured pizza stone.

Brick Oven Pizza At Home
Pizza Tastes Better On A Stone. We'll let you in on a pizza industry secret –– moisture is the death of a good pie. Our terracotta stone has a porous surface that draws moisture away from the dough, resulting in a crispier crust. Plus, our stone holds a lot of heat — making for a much crunchier base with hotter, bubblier toppings.

What makes brick oven pizza so good? Two things –– high heat and low moisture. This slab achieves both. Our slab holds a ridiculous amount of heat, and ceramic naturally pulls moisture out of dough.

Very High Heat Tolerance & Distribution
A pizza stone only works as well as it holds, and disperses, heat. This one does both –– masterfully. It's rated all the way up to 1400°F, more than you could ever need. It's unique construction distributes heat evenly across the entire pizza, ensuring everything from core to crust cooks evenly.

The Perfect Shape
We chose a circular design for an obvious reason –– pizzas are circles. By making our slab a circle, we save you space, and allow you to get more pizza from the same size oven. Still, our slab works for more than just pizza. Its large shape is large enough to prepare artisan loaves, flatbreads, and more.
